Just wanted to do a quick post about:
1) My hair
2) My new favorite mascara!
As some of you may know, I've been having a lot of trouble with my hair lately...
After bleaching multiple times, and dying it other colors who knows how many times its come to this ugly auburn color that I just can't stand anymore.
^^^^^
YUCK!
Soooo after letting my hair rest for about a month i'd say, I went and bought a couple of box dyes to color my hair again (keep in mind that ugly color up there was from a good dye that I got at Sallys... Hah long lasting my butt! It started to fade terribly after the first wash!)
So this is the hair dye I bought (cheap & doesn't fail)
I got the Brown Black 20 since I want a deep brown, and with fading, I want it to still stay a dark brown without turning this ugly gray color since my hair has been bleached and stuff so many times. :(
So far from what I can see its nice and dark. Doesn't seem to be a different color from my root to my ends, but time will tell. :/
^^^
So its super dark, but still wet here too...
so i'll just have to wait and see what happens when it dries.
Wish me luck on my hair journey! lol
[[oh! and I also can't wait for it to grow out!! Me + short hair = me running for extensions! lol]]
Now on to my mascara!
The other day I got the Maybelline Falsies mascara, and I loooooove it!
Its supposed to fill in the gaps, creating a voluminous fake lash look on your normal lashes.
Well, I wouldn't say it fills in the gaps, being that it kind cause them to stick together, making them look like thick individual lashes, which in my opinion isn't a good thing.
The little spoon like spoolie on the mascara wand is nice though, helps to separate the lashes & covers them evenly. But what I think sucks is that the opening of the tube doesn't take off much of the excess on the wand, causing there to be lots of product on the spoolie, which then creates those thick lashes I told you about.
Depending on how you apply it, it can either hurt you or help you in your mission to achieve those full fake lashes your looking for.
I just kept brushing my lashes, to separate them, and applying another coat, which does help to thicken each lash up. I'd have to say, given that extra little bit of work, I love it.
Here's what the lashes look like with and without the mascara. Helps a lot!

(I should have done the one on the left with a reg mascara to better show the difference, oops!)
But overall, I do love the way it makes my eyelashes look, so I'm definitely gonna continue to use this puppy.
Waiting for my love to get home from work, then off to the grocery store... boo! X P
lol
lots of love,
Justine<3
